Hamza Diaz is the founder and editor of All About Pets. For the past four years, he has focused on one mission: helping pet owners find reliable, evidence-based information so they can make confident decisions about their animals’ care without unnecessary worry.

Hamza understands that being a pet owner often comes with constant questions: “Is this normal?”, “Do I need a vet now?”, or “Which advice can I actually trust?” Sometimes those concerns require immediate veterinary attention; other times, good information and context can prevent panic. All About Pets exists to bridge that gap making complex pet care topics clear, accurate, and practical for everyday owners.

To back this mission with real credentials, Hamza has invested in formal pet care education and training, including:

• Certified Pet Care Technician (CPCT) – Pet Sitters International (PSI)
• Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS) – Pet Sitters International (PSI)
• Pet CPR and First Aid Certification – Pet First Aid & CPR by the American Red Cross
• Currently enrolled in a Veterinary Technician Certification program at Purdue University (8 months into the program, with approximately 1 year and 4 months remaining)

These certifications, combined with ongoing veterinary technician training, ensure that Hamza’s content is grounded in both practical experience and structured education.

Hamza also collaborates closely with licensed veterinarians to ensure that every health and behavior article on All About Pets is accurate, up to date, and aligned with current best practices in veterinary medicine and animal behavior. His work spans dog training, cat behavior, pet wellness, first aid awareness, and general health information, always written with the real-world pet owner in mind.

Outside of researching and writing, Hamza spends time with his own pets, Cindy (his cat) and Rio (his husky), constantly applying and refining the care principles he shares on the site. They’re not just part of his life story, they’re a daily reminder of why responsible, informed pet care matters.
